Rhoss adds R290 heat pumps

ITALY: Rhoss has added two new reversible and modular heat pumps operating on R290 refrigerant to its portfolio.

Both heat pumps are designed with a single refrigerant circuit, the Poker-PI featuring an inverter scroll compressor and the Poker-P two on/off scroll compressors.

In addition to the use of R290, both ranges feature leak detector and ventilation system for total safety with the A3 refrigerant.

The Rhoss’ Dynamic Sequencer has been integrated in both units, along with sequenced DHW management and desuperheater management in standard or economy mode.

Poker-PI

Poker-PI is available in one size that can be coupled to up to four units  covering a capacity from 47.8kW up to 191.2kW.

Boasting a low noise operation of 79dB(A), it quotes a low-temperature SCOP of up to 4.52 and a medium-temperature SCOP of up to 3.72.

Hot water production is said to be up to 80°C, and 60°C hot water with external air down to -20°C. Cold water production is from -10°C up to 20°C with external air temperatures up to 50°C.

Poker-P

The new range Poker-P is a technical upgrade of Rhoss’ existing PokeR290 range. Like the Poker-PI, the Poker-P is available in one size that can be coupled in up to four units through the new SDR integrated sequencer, covering capacity from 48kW up to 190kW.

It features a fixed speed double compressor (fixed speed) on/off configuration, with low noise operation of 76dB(A).

Now in A++ class, the Poker-P achieves low-temperature SCOP of 3.83. Operating limits have also been extended – it is now possible to produce hot water up to 75°C down to 0°C of external air.
