Rhoss launches R1234ze chillers

ITALY: Rhoss is the latest chiller manufacturer to offer low GWP refrigerant R1234ze in a new range of oil-free centrifugal chillers.

The Italian manufacturer’s new high efficiency TurboPower range, available in both R1234ze and R134a versions, is said to exceed Eurovent class A in cooling capacities of over 1000kW. High efficiency and low-noise versions are available.

Based on Turbocor technology, the units are equipped with the latest performance-enhancing flooded heat exchangers. MCHX micro-channel coils optimise heat exchange and make the chiller lighter, with the refrigerant gas content further reduced by up to 30%.

R134a versions are available in cooling capacities from 267kW to 1101kW and boast ESEERs up to 5.63. It is available in basic, high efficiency and super silenced versions.

The R1234ze range offers cooling capacities from 323.2kW to 948.6kW with ESEERs up to 5.66. High efficiency and super silenced unit versions are available.
