Rooftop for crowded locations

ITALY: Clivet has announced a new R32 rooftop unit specially designed for crowded locations such as cinemas, restaurants, auditoriums, etc.

The new ClivetPack3i CSNX-iY rooftop units cover nominal capacities from 40kW to 120kW with air flow rates from 4,000 to 25,000 m3/h and offering the possibility of handling up to 100% outside air.

The inclusion of high-efficiency iFD (intense field dielectric) electronic filters are said to ensure high air quality, removing airborne particles with ePM1 90% efficiency, including allergens, fine dust, bacteria and viruses. Pressure drops are described as very low.

The CSNX-iY units are equipped with a double refrigeration circuit and inverter compressors. Also, Clivet maintains that its new patented REVO (Recovery EVOlution) thermodynamic recovery increases power output and overall efficiency.

With the REVO, recovery is carried out directly on a delimited portion of the source coil, which, when crossed by the exhausted air, ensures an immediate improvement in the operating conditions of the unit.

Clivet maintains that the adoption of lower GWP refrigerant R32 refrigerant combined with a  reduction and optimisation of the refrigerant charge, reduces the environmental impact by over 80%.

New silent and super silent modes are offered, along with smart freecooling management.

Product manager Damiano Rossi insists that the new addition strengthens Clivet’s rooftop offering with a complete and extended range up to 350kW and 60,000m3/h air flow.
