Samsung launches DVM VRF on R32

UK: Samsung Climate Solutions announces the DVM S2 R32, a commercial VRF system designed to operate with R32 refrigerant.
Available in seven capacities from 22.4kW to 56kW, the DVM S2 R32 range offers total piping lengths of 1,000m with up to 36 connectable indoor units.
The DVM S2 R32 features a factory-integrated Wi-Fi kit, allowing seamless management of indoor units directly through the SmartThings app. The integrated AI core supports AI adaptive control, helping to optimise heating and cooling performance and energy consumption, with potential energy savings of up to 25%. AI pre-conditioning schedules operation in advance to ensure the temperature is set at the desired time, regardless of weather conditions or heating/cooling load.
AI refrigerant analysis enables proactive leak detection, while AI high- and low-pressure control adjusts operation based on usage patterns from recent operations and surrounding conditions. Active AI defrost performs defrost cycles more precisely, helping to reduce unnecessary operation and increase the continuous heating time up by 40%.
Samsung DVM S2 R32 heat pump outdoor unit is designed for integration with newly designed shut-off valve boxes, supporting faster installation.
The smart remote controller includes both audible and visible alarm alerts. This configuration reduces on-site calculation and measurement time, streamlining setup for installers and technicians.
