Small capacity efficient chillers
BELGIUM: Ingersoll Rand has announced the European launch of two new Trane small capacity chillers for comfort and process applications.
The two new additions are the CGA air to water chiller and the CXA air to water heat pump. Both units feature axial fans with scroll compressors.
New units replace the previous CGA/CXA range from Trane and provide customers with up to 17% improvement in cooling and heating efficiencies, up to 32% smaller footprint and up to 5dB lower sound power levels compared to the previous range.
In addition, the new CGA and CXA units are said to be able to deliver leaving chilled water temperatures to -12ºC, making them ideal for process cooling applications in the food and beverage industry.
The new solutions meet the SCOP heating efficiency levels that go into effect in September as part of the ongoing rollout of Ecodesign Directives.
New CGA/CXA units are available for order and first units are already being delivered to Trane customers in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
