Ultra-Line 360 fan coil for exposed-ceiling applications

UK: The new Ultra-Line 360 fan coil unit from UK company Diffusion is designed for exposed-ceiling applications in commercial office, retail, and hospitality projects.
Said to combine the performance of Diffusion’s established Modular Highline fan coils with a special diffuser and integrated plenum, the Ultra-Line provides 360º air distribution through the Coandă effect.
The new unit has been designed to simplify specification, installation, and maintenance by eliminating the need for ductwork, separately specified attenuator, plenums, diffuser and grilles, helping reduce installation time, coordination requirements and associated project costs.
The unit combines EC/DC motor and fan technology with a high-efficiency heat exchanger. Sounds levels are said to be as low as NR25 for 125l/s and a low specific fan power from 0.05W/l/s.
Diffusion’s Lifetime Eco wire mesh filter, that can be vacuum cleaned in situ, is supplied as standard. Alternatively, ISO grade 30% coarse media filters are also available.
Customers can choose either a gravity condensate connection, or the Maxi-Blue condensate pump. Diffusion can also fit controls equipment to customers’ own specifications, or Diffusion’s factory-fitted proprietary option.
Supplied in galvanised steel, the Ultra-Line 360 can also be powder-coat finished in a customer-specified RAL colour to suit interiors.
