Daikin UK teams up with HSS Training

UK: Daikin UK has teamed up with training company HSS Training to offer reduced-rate skills and F-gas training.

The new partnership will offer a reduced rate of £836+VAT for F-gas Cat 1 (five day) training. Daikin maintains that this provides a significant discount on the typical cost of £1200-£1600+VAT.

HSS Training is the specialist training division of the UK’s original tool and equipment hire company, HSS ProService Group. HSS offers over 300 industry-recognised training courses, professionally delivered via 80 qualified trainers to individuals and organisations throughout the UK and Ireland at over 60 fully equipped centres.

A wide range of professional skills training is available from HSS, including First Aid at Work, Work at Height including IPAF certifications. All these courses will be available at a special lower rate for Daikin installers and engineers. In addition, Daikin says that customers can use the Daikin Business Development Fund to provide extra savings.

“This relationship with HSS allows us to provide a much more cost-effective means of recruiting more F-gas registered engineers to help the transition to more sustainable heating systems. Additionally, customers can take advantage of reduced training costs on a wide range of other courses through HSS, making their businesses more versatile and valuable,” commented Daikin UK’s product and training manager Martin Passingham.

Daikin customers will need to set up an HSS account to apply for the training.
