HPA hosts refrigerant awareness seminar

UK: The Heat Pump Association (HPA) is to host a free heat pump refrigerant awareness webinar, in collaboration with the InstallerSHOW organiser Elemental.
With the move towards low GWP flammable refrigerants, the webinar on May 22 (10.00-11.00 BST) will look at safety considerations and the importance of comprehensive installer training.
It is aimed at providing heat pump installers, designers, and specifiers with enhanced knowledge about common heat pump refrigerants and key considerations to support the correct installation, maintenance, and servicing.
Although committed to supporting the heat pump industry’s transition to low GWP refrigerants in a manner that prioritises safety and installer responsibility, the HPA points out that this is an awareness CPD webinar and not a regulated flammable refrigerant training course.
