Andy Reed: “Exciting times for LG”

UK: Andy Reed has been named as LG Electronics’ new UK director of Air Conditioning and Energy Solutions.

Andy Reed joins LG from wholesaler Dean and Wood and replaces Jody Lees who left in September.

Starting as a contracts engineer with Grenco, Andy first worked for Dean and Wood in the early nineties as technical sales director before joining Danfoss as sales director in 1989, working his way up to vice president sales – Europe and then in 2005 to the role of global head of sales programme. He left Danfoss and moved back to Dean and Wood as business director in 2012.

“I have been fortunate to always work for market leaders who focus and invest in product innovation, services and people, and this move is a continuation of that theme,” he says. “These are very exciting times for LG and I’m delighted having worked with LG as a customer for several years to be given the opportunity of leading this excellent team in the months and years ahead. I know the LG products, I know the LG team and I’m confident we can build on the rapid growth that LG has experienced in recent years in the air conditioning, heating and renewables fields.”
