Arrowsmith named BRA vice president

UK: Paul Arrowsmith, the refrigeration design manager for Sainsbury’s, has been named as vice president of the British Refrigeration Association (BRA).

A chartered engineer and a fellow of both CIBSE and the Institute of Refrigeration (IoR), Arrowsmith has a refrigeration industry career spanning over 40 years. Now 10 years into his role at Sainsbury’s, he previously spent over 30 years at the now defunct contractor WR Refrigeration, latterly as engineering and compliance director.

His election follows the recent appointment of Neil Roberts as BRA president.

Arrowsmith is the current chair of the BRA end users section as well as a member of the IoR technical committee and has previously held the position of chair of the ACRIB education and training committee.
