B&ES appoints regional manager

UK: The Building & Engineering Services Association has appointed Steven Smith as regional manager for the west and south west of England.

Mr Smith comes to the role following six years as a training adviser with B&ES subsidiary Building Engineering Services Training, during which time he gained a thorough knowledge of the sector and the needs and priorities of employers – many of them Association members.

Originally qualifying as an electrician with national contractor Balfour Kilpatrick, Mr Smith went on to serve seven years with electrical training provider JTL, and has considerable experience in facilities management and controls and hospital engineering.
