Bevington joins Beijer Ref as business development manager

UK: Paul Bevington has joined Beijer Ref UK and Ireland as business development manager (director designate).

Bevington is a familiar face within the food retail industry where he has held a number of senior business development positions promoting the transition to CO2 refrigeration with Carter Synergy, EPTA and Carrier.

He spent over 15 years at Carter Synergy, latterly as business development manager, before joining Green & Cool World Refrigeration AB as sales manager in 2016. He then spent two and a half years at Epta in the role of contracting and technical manager before joining Carrier Commercial Refrigeration in 2021 as business development manager – industrial refrigeration.

Beijer Ref UK and Ireland MD John Billson said: “I am delighted to have Paul on board to help catapult our business to a new and unique level.”

Bevington, who admits to being passionate about the industry change towards “natural refrigerants”, added: “Beijer Ref has the same aligned vision with the added feature of an actual product portfolio, in house refrigeration training academy and an enviable logistical route to market.”
