UK: Integral, the UK’s largest independent m&e and building maintenance company, is expanding into the industrial refrigeration and HVAC sectors.

The Leicester-based company entered the refrigeration market in 2013 with the purchase of a number of key supermarket contracts from WR Refrigeration’s administrator. Seen as a natural extension of its capabilities, Integral’s move into the industrial sector is being led by former GEA Refrigeration md David Bostock. Other key appointments to the new venture include Graham Young and Adam Bowey, also both previously directors of GEA Refrigeration.

“We have listened to users in the industrial refrigeration market who require a quality service. Our response has been to broaden and extend our refrigeration capabilities in this area” said Bryan Glastonbury, managing director of Integral UK Ltd.

“We aim for excellence in everything we do, and are delighted to attract a team of the highest calibre” added Bryan.

“I am delighted to have joined such a modern forward looking company, one that values engineering excellence and innovation, while retaining traditional values of integrity and exceptional customer service,” said David Bostock

This carefully planned expansion will enable Integral to offer full in-house design, installation and expand the after-sales service of industrial refrigeration systems. Integral now has over 100 qualified RAC engineers across all UK regions in 16 offices. In addition to the traditional industrial refrigeration market, the new division will also offer the same expertise and service to users of industrial HVAC systems.

“Integral’s one-team approach ensures that we always strive to identify opportunities for improved efficiency that provide our clients with cost effective, sustainable solutions. Being truly independent and not attached to any one manufacturer means that we are unrestricted in being able to select the best plant for the customer’s application and budget,” said new sales director Graham Young.

“The addition of the Industrial HVAC capabilities really does broaden our reach to include the whole industrial and manufacturing  sector including critical environments such as  data centre, pharmaceutical, scientific, and clean room application together with supporting the food production sector,” said service director Martin Mitchell.

Integral UK’s refrigeration divisional headquarters is located in Birstall, Leicester. Group headquarters are in Bristol.
