Business Edge re-opens on June 1

UK: Training provider Business Edge is reorganising its refrigeration and air conditioning training centre and practical workshops with a view to re-opening on June 1.

The Hampshire-based company will be presenting the theory elements of all courses, including the F-gas and brazing courses as interactive webinars but for those attendees that still prefer face-to-face training, spaces will be made available on a limited basis.

Business Edge says it appreciates the problems technicians are facing with regard to F-gas, brazing and other new certification and renewal reassessment courses. As a result, it is now reorganising its training centre and practical workshops to ensure that delegates attending training and assessment courses will be safe via social distancing in accordance with government guidelines.

The F-gas and Brazing Courses will be broadcast live and attendees will be able to interact with the trainer and ask questions in real time. These will also be recorded to enable those unable to attend to watch at a time to suit with the opportunity to ask trainers questions via email.

Business Edge is also working with the certification bodies to offer an online scheduled F-gas theory test, which can be invigilated remotely. Delegates will only have to attend the training centre for their practical assessment. This will be conducted on an allocated time basis.
