Brian Woods: “Opportunities”

UK: Carrier Rental Systems (UK) has expanded its Irish operations with a new depot in the Republic of Ireland.

The new depot in Dublin is an addition to the temporary cooling and heating specialist’s existing Lisburn depot in the North.

Carrier Rental Systems recently invested in a brand new fleet of chillers based on the latest high-efficiency, low-noise Carrier systems, as well as air conditioning plant, heating and packaged boilers.

Brian Woods, who heads up the company’s Lisburn branch, said: “The Irish economy is picking up after a difficult period, and we see new opportunities to provide temporary cooling and heating solutions to customers across the country. We look forward to serving growing customer requirements across all segments.”

He added: “Ireland is recognised for high tech, high value industries such as pharmaceuticals and IT. Many of the top 25 global pharmaceutical companies have a presence here, with manufacturing and research and development facilities located across the country.

“They have a significant requirement for temporary cooling, with expansion needs and unexpected breakdowns, which are key areas of expertise for Carrier Rental Systems.”

The expansion in Ireland follows recent announcements from Carrier Rental Systems regarding development of its site at Thorpe, England, and expanded distribution of HVAC equipment in Scotland.
