Cattell to become VP of Beijer Ref UK and Ireland

UK: Hayley Cattell, MD of Beijer Ref UK and Ireland, is to take on the additional role of vice-president of the Swedish wholesaler’s UK and Ireland subsidiary from January 1.

The announcement follows the decision of current Beijer Ref UK and Ireland vice president John Bilson to step away from day-to-day operational management at the end of this year. After 50 years in the refrigeration and air conditioning industry, 37 of them with Beijer Ref, he will remain involved as chairman of the Beijer Ref UK and Ireland board.

In her new role, Hayley Cattell will will also be part of Beijer Ref’s EMEA leadership team. She has been with Beijer Ref for over 15 years, joining in 2010 as trainee sales engineer for the north east, later becoming product development manager, followed by several senior leadership positions including group sales director. She was appointed MD last year.
