Clade move boosts heat pump production

UK: Heat pump manufacturer Clade has relocated its Technology Centre to a new 2700m2 factory in Morley, Leeds.
The move, which will create 30 new jobs, will also enable the company to increase production of its domestic, commercial and industrial CO2 heat pumps by 400%.
The new factory includes solar PV to help generate clean energy, the installation of electric vehicle charging points, LED lighting and waste reduction strategies.
Formerly known as A1 Engineering Services, Clade has a history stretching back 36 years. Originally a refrigeration contractor business, the company later added manufacturing capacity and moved into “natural” refrigerants and heat pumps.
