DENMARK: Danfoss is expanding its gasketed plate heat exchanger portfolio with the D353, described as a compact solution developed for critical cooling applications.
Said to have been developed with data centres in mind, Danfoss explains that the D353 is designed for applications where uptime, heat transfer efficiency, and ease of maintenance are essential. The company maintains that its compact frame design can reduce both height and footprint, supporting easier installation in facilities where every square metre matters.
The D353 employs Danfoss’ D-Lock gasket system, improved plate alignment, ArcCompact plate suspension, and internal roller system to support easier handling, maintenance, and resealing.
Beyond data centres, the D353 is also said to open new opportunities in other demanding applications, including AI infrastructure, offshore applications, and geothermal systems. With support for higher operating pressures the D353 gives customers greater flexibility to adapt the solution to different system requirements.
