Climalife stocks lower GWP refrigerants

UK: Climalife UK (IDS Refrigeration Ltd) now has stocks of the Chemours’ Opteon range of refrigerants, the lower GWP alternatives to R404A, R507 and R134a.
Opteon XP40 (R449A), XP44 (R452A) and XP10 (R513A), are all non-flammable HFO-based refrigerants with much lower GWP values than the refrigerants for which they can be used to replace.
Opteon XP40 (R449A), is designed to replace R404A and R507 in direct expansion low and medium temperature commercial and industrial applications. It has a GWP of 1397, almost a third of R404A.
Opteon XP10 (R513A) with a GWP of 631, over half that of R134a, has been developed for medium temperature commercial, industrial and chiller applications.
Opteon XP44 (R452A) is seeing a significant uptake in transport refrigeration applications as an R404A replacement with the same discharge temperatures. Its GWP is nearly half that of R404A. With all three products being non-flammable they are suitable for both new systems and the retrofit of existing systems. Compressor manufacturers have already approved these refrigerants for some of their range and selection software is available.
Climalife has the Opteon range in stock in a range of cylinder sizes with quantities available to meet the growing demand for these low GWP refrigerants.
