UK: Cool-Therm, the expanding chiller and air conditioning specialist, has made two new appointments to support future growth plans.

Phil Greenhough has been appointed to the new role of key account manager. Phil, who was previously senior service engineer at Cool-Therm, is responsible for securing new maintenance contracts and service work in the South West.

Chris Hibbs has been appointed project applications engineer and is based in Bristol. Formerly with JCW, Chris will use his experience of VRF systems to help grow Cool-Therm’s presence in this important sector.

Ken Strong, managing director, said: “This year has been highly successful, with significant growth in Turbomiser sales as well as other sectors. We see opportunities across the business, particularly in large air conditioning projects, industrial process cooling and air handling units.”

Cool-Therm recently entered into an agreement with European manufacturer Clima Tech to supply its advanced air handling units (AHUs) in the UK. The company reports that it is already in discussions in relation to some major projects about using Clima Tech equipment.
