UK: Daikin heat pump products and technologies have been included within a new low carbon showroom and training centre opened by James Hargreaves Plumbing Supplies at its HQ in Burnley.

James Hargreaves’ Low Carbon Centre, which was opened by Burnley MP Antony Higginbotham last week, is designed to provide a pathway of training, upskilling and support for heating engineers, installers and plumbers nationwide.

The Daikin Sustainable Home Centre, featured within the facility, showcases the company’s wide range of low-carbon products. A purpose built training room has been designed to provide the space for installers to obtain the skills and knowledge they need to become part of the UK’s low-carbon future, including domestic air-source heat pumps, energy efficiency for domestic heating, water supply regulations, underfloor heating and system design.

“Being able to explore and discuss heat pump technology and the significant cost savings they offer in person is vital, as is knowing that it will be installed by a highly trained professional – and that’s what our Sustainable Home Centres are all about,” commented Iain Bevan, Daikin UK’s commercial manager – heating & renewables.
