Daikin sponsors building performance event

4638957_lUK: Daikin UK is sponsoring next week’s CIBSE Leadership in Building Performance Conference and Exhibition in London.

The CIBSE Leadership in Building Performance Conference will look at the efficient design, construction, maintenance and operation of buildings and the systems that support them. It is hoped that the event will enable clients, engineers and designers, contractors and product manufacturers to identify and focus on the developments, innovations and best practice that will improve the performance of new and existing buildings.

The topics discussed at the event will range from zero carbon buildings and the future of BIM to new technologies available for improved building performance. Noted speakers at the conference include RIBA president Stephen Hodder, Arup’s CAD manager Carl Collins, and Huw Blackwell, energy officer at London Borough of Islington.

Speaking of Daikin’s involvement, UK md Dirk Slagmulder said : “The event is really important for the sector, and we recognise our responsibility within it to meet the needs of customers. This is a great opportunity to help with advice and solutions to any concerns within the industry.”

As well as the sponsorship, Daikin will be exhibiting its wide range of climate control solutions.
