Daikin UK expands Quiet Mark certified products

UK: Daikin UK has expanded its portfolio of products certified to the Quiet Mark programme of products delivering exceptional acoustic performance.

Associated with the UK Noise Abatement Society, the Quiet Mark tests products in multiple categories spanning many sectors, including home appliances and technology, building sector materials and commercial sector products.

The latest Daikin product additions include the Multi+ system, Perfera and Stylish wall-mounted indoor units, and a selection of advanced air purifiers. These join the already certified Daikin Altherma 3 HHT heat pump.

The Daikin Multi+ range has been awarded Quiet Mark certification

Each product has undergone rigorous independent testing by Quiet Mark experts and has been recognised for delivering exceptional acoustic performance, helping to create calm and comfortable indoor environments.

“We recognise that creating comfortable indoor environments is about more than just temperature, it’s also about sound,” said Hamid Salimi, Daikin UK’s residential product manager. “The addition of Multi+ and our indoor units is particularly significant, as it allows homeowners and specifiers to choose integrated systems that perform efficiently while maintaining an unobtrusive presence within the home.”

Quiet Mark’s latest YouGov national noise survey, released this month, reports 61% of consumers are concerned about a heat pump’s potential noise output, while 57% of those surveyed say independent noise certification would increase their trust when considering a heat pump purchase.
