Gel-clear establishes ac cleaner plant in Vietnam

UK: Lancashire cleaning specialist Gel-clear has set up a bottling plant for its Air-clear air conditioning cleaner in Vietnam.

Established in a matter of only a few days, the Vietnamese bottling plant and distribution throughout the region was arranged with local HVACR supplier partner 3N Tech, based in Ho Chi Minh City. 3N Tech will sell the Air-clear through its own branches and online and even hopes to get the cleaner onto supermarket shelves.

In addition to its use in hospitals, medical and food production facilities, Air-clear has proved popular in hotels, restaurants and food stores, particularly since social isolation ended in Vietnam on April 22.

The concentrated Air-clear has proved popular thanks to its use of the Gel-clear long lasting coating method to clean air conditioning coils, independently tested to remain effective against bacteria for months. Air-clear is also said to have been tested effective against all enveloped viruses, which includes the coronavirus, to British and European Standards EN 1276, EN 14476, EN13624, EN14348, BS EN 1650 and EN13727.

Non hazardous to use, Air-clear so doesn’t require any additional safety measures.

“We are particularly proud of the fact that we set up bottling facilities for Air-clear in just 10 days from starting the negotiations,” said Gel-clear MD Paurick Gaughan.

“Normally we need months for the import licence, and to prepare the factory. But because of COVID-19, our partner was able to help us faster,” added Viet Nguyen of 3N Tech.

3N Tech will be supplying the full range of Gel-clear products, which includes the UK manufactured cleaners, HVACR drainage ancillaries and the award-winning Gel-clear condensate tablets for both air conditioning applications, and food retail refrigeration.
