Copeland Europe’s Sandro Matic moves to US

USA/GERMANY: Sandro Matic, president of Copeland’s European business is to become president of its Americas business. He will be replaced by Gwenaelle Cheramy, currently general manager of Honeywell in Switzerland.
Matic will formally assume the role of president of the Americas business on 1 September but will continue to lead Europe on an interim basis until Cheramy arrives on 1 October.
Cheramy joins Copeland with more than 20 years of international leadership experience across commercial operations, business management and strategic planning, including responsibility for large organisations like Nissan and Honeywell.
Matic joined Copeland’s former owner Emerson in Aachen in 2011 as a financial analyst. Following several roles of increasing leadership responsibility, he was appointed president of Emerson Climate Europe in 2022, becoming Copeland’s president of Europe a year later.
