UK: National wholesaler HRP has confirmed its participation at the ACR Show 2014 – the UK’s only national exhibition for the air conditioning and refrigeration industry.

HRP, which is sponsoring the high profile Business Seminar Programme, is amongst a number of new companies to have recently confirmed their involvement.

Tony Wright, HRP’s sales and marketing director, said: “We are delighted to be supporting the show as major sponsors. The exhibition is the key event and meeting point in the calendar for all sides of the industry.”

He added: “The theme of the business programme, preparing for growth, aligns perfectly with our strategy and approach to the market. The show provides a great opportunity for us to network and brief people on our plans for the coming year and beyond.”

The latest companies confirming as exhibitors include leading refrigerant supplier DuPont, air conditioning specialists Andrew Sykes and Greenmill AC, component suppliers Pump House and Aspen, and refrigeration supplier Coldkit.

Visitors to the show have free access to the industry’s top experts, with 38 seminar sessions covering topical business and technical issues. Topping the bill are two seminars from Daikin UK, headline exhibition sponsor, with seminars entitled “The biggest change to air conditioning since the introduction of the inverter” and “Preparing for the refrigeration revolution.”

As the High Street supermarkets continue their push for more sustainable stores, a key seminar entitled “The greening of the supermarkets” will update visitors on the latest developments in the rapidly evolving food retail sector.

The Show takes place at the NEC, Birmingham, from February 11-13. Visitors can pre-register to attend the show via the show website, with free access to seminars on a first-come, first-served basis.
