Hubbard’s cellar cooler is ETL listed

Hubbard-LiteAirUK: Hubbard’s recently introduced LiteAir cellar cooling range has achieved Energy Technology Listing and now qualifies for enhanced capital allowance tax benefits.

The Hubbard LiteAir products were introduced last year, specifically to fill the void left by the withdrawal of Eaton Williams’ Qualitair products from the cellar-cooling sector. As well as being compatible with the current Qualitair 410A machines, Hubbard Products offers a full supply of spares for the units as well.

This is the first time that a Hubbard entry level cellar cooling range has qualified for ECA benefits and brings energy efficiency and the associated benefits of low running costs and maintenance within reach of smaller independent users.

To assist specifiers and installers of refrigeration equipment further, a smart phone quick selection app is now available free for both iPhone and Android. The app calculates the volume of a cellar in metric or imperial measure and offers a guide to the system that in normal operating circumstances will supply the cooling required. An online calculator can also be found here for downloading to a smart phone.

Quick selection pocket guides are also offered directly from the nominated wholesalers.

“The LiteAir system is designed from the ground up, to be the perfect entry level cooling system for smaller and independent users,” commented Hubbard Products commercial director Dougie Stoddart.

“Now, the benefits of energy efficiency that have previously only been available to the purchasers of more expensive and more powerful cooling systems can be had by all. This represents a major step forward for those on tighter budgets and opens the door to tax benefits that otherwise would have been beyond their reach,” Stoddart added.
