IOR president is “Local Hero”

UK: Institute of Refrigeration president Lisa-Jayne Cook was amongst the winners last night at the Top 100 Most Influential Women in Construction Awards 2025.

Cook won the Southeast Local Hero award, a category celebrating women making a significant impact at a local or regional level.

The awards, organised by the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB), highlight the significant contributions of women from across the construction industry, were announced at Manchester’s Kimpton Clocktower Hotel last night.
