Mitsubishi makes key management changes

Management changes (left to right): Phil Ord, Russell Dean, Angela Rondeau and Geoff Turton

UK: Mitsubishi Electric Living Environmental Systems UK has made a number of key senior management changes in the creation of four new customer-facing groups.

The move, said to enable the air conditioning and heat pump company to meet the challenge of delivering the right solutions for a net zero future, sees the creation of four new groups: commercial products, commercial life cycle solutions, residential products and residential life cycle solutions.

Phil Ord, head of marketing and sales strategy, becomes commercial products group director. He joined Mitsubishi in 2001 as an apprentice service engineer, progressing through a number of design, marketing and sales roles before being appointed head of marketing and sales strategy in 2018.

The new residential products group director is Russell Dean, most recently head of residential heating and ventilation. He joined Mitsubishi Electric in 2004 from Coleman Moducel.

Geoff Turton is the new commercial life cycle solutions director, promoted from head of customer care group (service, maintenance & after-sales technical), a role he has held since 2018.

The new residential life cycle solutions director is Angela Rondeau, who has been with the company since 2005, most recently as head of commercial sales network.
