Panasonic takes CPD courses online

UK: Air conditioning and heat pump manufacturer Panasonic has taken its CIBSE accredited CPD courses online to enhance skills during the current lockdown.

The courses have previously been held at the company’s Bracknell HQ or in various locations around the UK. These courses have now been taken online using the video conferencing facilities of Microsoft Teams.

The CPD courses developed by Panasonic support learning in a variety of heating and cooling disciplines.

“We recognise that times are challenging, with numerous people working from home, and looking to find ways of keeping busy,” explained Panasonic UK’s specified sales manager Mick Langford. “With many of our tools available through the Panasonic ProClub, we have also looked at our technical support and educational resources. We are pleased to be able to provide access to our training sessions by running the programme online.”

There is currently a choice of four accredited CIBSE CPDs that are running during April and May. The next available dates are: 23 April Principles of Air Conditioning – Overview of Splits/VRF (23/4, 29/4, 4/5, 13/5); Overview of F-Gas and R32 Technology (30/4); Overview of Gas Heat Pump (GHP) Technology (5/5); An Introduction to Air to Water Technology (7/5).

The sessions typically last approximately one hour and are free to participate. Delegates need to register in advance and are given the chance throughout the session to interact and ask questions.

Those interested in participating in any of the above sessions please email info@eu.panasonic.com or call  01344 853393.
