R22 cylinders found dumped

UK: Three cylinders of R22 have been found amongst 56 cylinders of various gases dumped on a public bridle path in Wombourne, Staffordshire.
Many of the cylinders were said to be old and in a poor state of repair. The R22 cylinders were full and had to be destroyed in a controlled environment immediately as the valves were partially broken and fragile.
Other cylinders, many of them still full, contained propane, CO2 and halons.
Investigations are said to be ongoing to track down those responsible for dumping the cylinders.
