UK: Ian Sams, the former md of Trox UK, has been appointed managing director and general manager at Eaton Williams Group.

Ian Sams replaces Gerry Stapley who has retired as managing director of Eaton-Williams following a 23-year career with the company.

With over 30 years of experience in the building services industries, Ian Sams was previously sales and marketing director of Armstrong Pumps and, most recently, chief operating officer and md of Trox UK until his departure last year.

Mark DeVincent, president of Eaton-Williams’ affiliate company CES Group, said: “Ian will help us strengthen our UK-based operations and European sales activities to capitalise on more European market opportunities, especially in data centres and high performance computing applications. He will be based in Edenbridge, Kent, and will report to me.”
