Skope fridges added to ETL list

UK: Hubbard Systems has announced that two Skope ActiveCore bottom-mounted glass-door display refrigerators have been added to the UK’s Energy Technology List (ETL).
The ETL list, which provides independent verification of top-performing energy-efficient products, now includes the Skope BME600N-A single-door and BME1200N-A double-door ActiveCore display refrigerators.
The range of refrigeration units manufactured by New Zealand company Skope Refrigeration have been available from Hubbard Systems in the UK since April.
The BME600N-A is a 559-litre single glass-door display refrigerator consuming 1.60kWh per 24 hours, while the larger BME1200N-A provides 1,030 litres of display capacity with energy consumption of 2.55kWh per 24 hours.
Both use natural R290 refrigerant and are designed to operate in ambient temperatures up to 40°C. They are designed for front-of-house merchandising as well as back-of-house refrigerated storage, combining large glass doors, LED illumination and high product visibility with efficient commercial refrigeration technology.
