Star Refrigeration named cold chain’s top supplier

Star Refrigeration’s head of marketing Astrid Prado and group sales and marketing director Dr Rob Lamb celebrate success

UK: Star Refrigeration was named Supplier of the Year 2026 at last week’s Cold Chain Sustainability Awards, recognising its work across the temperature-controlled logistics sector.

The awards, organised by the Cold Chain Federation, were part of the federations’ Cold Chain Climate & Energy Summit held at the University of Warwick on March 19.

The Supplier of the Year category recognises organisations that demonstrate a clear commitment to reducing their own emissions while supporting customers to decarbonise.

Star was also recognised for its 30 years of membership of the Cold Chain Federation, and named a finalist in the Sustainable Partnership Project category for its work with Tesco at its Peterborough distribution centre.
