Steve Gill elected for another term as IOR president

UK: Steve Gill has been elected for a second term as president of the Institution of Refrigeration.

During this afternoon’s IOR AGM, it was announced that Steve Gill had received 156 votes – 31.8% of the total votes cast by the membership. Rob Lamb of Star Refrigeration received 127 votes, Paul Singh 105 votes and Paul Arrowsmith 102.

Gill, the founder of World Refrigeration Day, will now serve a year as president-elect before taking over from Lisa-Jayne Cook in 12 months time. He previously served as IOR president from 2016-2018.

In addition, Steve Benton of training firm Cool Concerns, and David Bostock, division director of Integral UK’s Cooling Technologies division, were elected to serve on the Institute’s board of trustees.
