Survey seeks views on refrigerant handling
31st March 2025
UK: ACRIB, the umbrella organisation representing the RACHP industry, is encouraging input to a survey as part of its input to the forthcoming review of the British F-Gas regulations.
The survey on refrigerant handling seeks inout from the RACHP industry towards training, qualifications and skills. It asks questions about current refrigerant handling certification practices for F-gases and alternatives including flammables, carbon dioxide and ammonia.
A report and summary of findings will be part of ACRIB discussions with policy makers on appropriate legislative approaches to future refrigerant handling, in order to support a safe, efficient, cost effective industry-led approach. The results will also be published on the ACRIB website.
The survey is being sent out through to members of Associated Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Contractors (ARC) , Building Engineering Services Association (BESA), Cold Chain Federation (CCF), Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE), Cambridge Refrigeration Technology (CRT), Food Service Equipment Association (FEA), the Federation of Environmental Trade Associations (FETA) and the Institute of Refigeration (IoR).
