TCUK to open Stockport branch

UK: Toshiba Carrier UK is set to open a new branch in Stockport to support its Toshiba, Carrier and Ciat products in the North of England and Scotland.

The new 10,000ft² facility will operate alongside its Leatherhead headquarters and is said to include offices, a warehouse, trade centre and a state-of-the-art HVAC Technology Training Centre.

In addition to air conditioning equipment, the trade counter will also supply installation components and materials, such as copper pipe and insulation.

The training centre will provide hands-on and classroom-based courses in air conditioning, heating and ventilation technology, with working examples from the latest generation of Toshiba, Carrier and CIAT equipment. It is intended that the training centre will operate year-round, with a scheduled programme of courses supported by bespoke training to meet specific installer, consultant and end-user needs.

Announcing the imminent opening in the company’s latest newsletter, managing director of sales David Dunn said that the new branch and local stocking recognised the importance of short delivery times.

“It is also an important step in bringing our three leading brands, Carrier, Toshiba and CIAT, together in pursuit of our goal of becoming a one-stop shop for all building services projects,” he said.
