Winners and losers at Cooling Awards

UK: Insulated energy-saving secondary coldroom door manufacturer Kenfield was a big winner at tonight’s Cooling Industry Awards at London’s Hilton Hotel.

The Birmingham-based company won both the Refrigeration Product (Components & Peripherals) and Retail Initiative awards for its K750 insulated door.

Another winner of two categories was the refrigeration waste recycling operations of Iceline Yorkshire, winning both the Low Carbon Achievement and the Environmental Collaboration categories.

Panasonic won Refrigeration Product of the Year (System or Standalone) for its new CO2 condensing units, also picking up a commendation in the Cold Chain Innovation category for the same product.

The biggest loser must be refrigerant manufacturer and supplier Honeywell, whose 16 entries in 10 separate categories failed to find favour with the judges.
