Women in Cooling a focus of InstallerShow 2024

UK: This year’s InstallerShow at the NEC will host what it claims will be the UK’s biggest Women in Cooling event to coincide with World Refrigeration Day.

Previously a heating event, this year’s show, which takes place from 25-27 June at the NEC, Birmingham, also promises specific cooling presentations for the first time.

The Women in Cooling event on June 27, the final day of the three-day InstallerShow, will include a programme of talks and networking with presentations and panel discussions from leading women in the industry, both in the UK and internationally. It will conclude with the announcement of the first World Refrigeration Day Influential Women Showcase.

The InstallerShow 2024 will also, for the first time, see presentations on cooling matters added to its Climate Solutions Theatre programme. This will include the UK launch of this year’s World Refrigeration Day, themed Temperature Matters, a lecture from heat pump ‘guru’ Graham Hendra and presentations on subjects ranging from heat recovery and supermarket cooling to F-gas, to heat networks.

Other features at InstallerShow 2024 will include InstallerTrades, a dedicated tools and workwear zone, designed to give visitors the chance to see the latest products in action.
