Eurovent joins ECO Platform

BELGIUM: Eurovent has joined the ECO Platform as its newest member in a move towards greater sustainability in the construction and building sector.
The ECO Platform is a European alliance that promotes Environmental Product Declarations and lifecycle data of construction products. Eurovent brings together more than 1,000 organisations from all over Europe representing manufacturers of air conditioning, ventilation, refrigeration and building automation equipment.
Eurovent insists that joining the ECO Platform aligns with its commitment to climate action and resource efficiency and strengthens the capacity of its members to provide verified and comparable environmental data using EPDs.
“We are eager to join the ECO Platform to support our common mission to provide credible and reliable environmental data in an affordable and effective way, eliminating barriers to trade and pushing for harmonisation,” said Eurovent deputy secretary general Stijn Renneboog.
