IOR members gain access to CIBSE events

IOR members will have discounted access to certain CIBSE events, including next month’s Technical Symposium

UK: Members of the Institute of Refrigeration (IOR) will be able to attend  number of key Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) events this year at a discounted rate.

As part of a reciprocal agreement signed in January, IOR members will be able to attend the CIBSE Technical Symposium (26–27 March), Decarbonisation Conference in April, and CIBSE’s Climate Adaptation and Resilience Conference in October.

In turn, CIBSE members will be encouraged to participate in IOR webinars and events which will be promoted to those with an interest in refrigeration, air conditioning, and heat pumps.

Announcing the initiative, IOR CEO Miriam Rodway said: “We are delighted to be sharing the IOR’s hugely popular and growing range of technical events with the wider Building services audience. Collaborations such as these serve to strengthen the whole sector, expand the Institute’s influence, and provide more offerings to members. With skills and education continuing as our main strategic theme this year, this arrangement with CIBSE is another example of putting this into practice.”

Bookings and further details are now open for the CIBSE Technical Symposium.
