A-Gas extends reclaim rewards to Australia

AUSTRALIA: A-Gas, the refrigerant supplier and lifecycle management company, has created a reclamation rewards scheme in collaboration with Australian HVACR wholesalers Actrol and Airefrig.

The Reclaim Rewards programme is designed to encourage and recognise responsible refrigerant recovery across Australia

The programme runs over a 12-month period and is designed to reward sustained improvements in recovery behaviour, rather than one off returns. Companies registered to the scheme receive points per kg of refrigerant returned, redeemable against gift vouchers.

“Responsible refrigerant recovery is one of the most effective ways our industry can reduce environmental impact while ensuring reliable access to refrigerants,” said Brett Ferguson, MD of A-Gas Australia. “Reclaim Rewards recognises businesses already leading the way in refrigerant recovery and supports greater participation across the industry.”
