A-Gas to extend Rapid Recovery to Benelux

NETHERLANDS: UK refrigerant supplier, recycler and reclaimer A-Gas is to extend its Rapid Recovery service to the Benelux countries later this year.

The venture will build on A-Gas’ purchase of Dutch refrigerant recycler BTC in 2017, and extend the availability of its service to Benelux contractors.

Rapid Recovery, introduced in the UK in 2017, offers refrigerant recovery at very high recovery rates – approximately ten times faster than traditional recovery units.

The BTC facility in Eygelshoven, close to the German and Belgian borders, has recently been equipped with a new separator to handle reclaimed refrigerants.

“Thanks to our trained sales engineers, our special equipment and the efficient way we are able to co-ordinate these activities, we are able to offer an extremely fast recovery service that meets all the compliance requirements,” commented A-Gas commercial strategy director Dr Patrick Amrhein.

A-Gas Rapid Recovery has a network of recovery vehicles and engineers in place to give refrigeration contractors national coverage and this is available to go on site at short notice to tackle jobs of all sizes.

The equipment is portable and has hoses which can reach installations more than 60m away. A-Gas Rapid Recovery provides recovery services to a wide range of industries, including refrigeration, HVAC, demolition, and marine. The Rapid Recovery team will take care of all aspects of the work – from start to finish – including the hazardous waste documentation and job site reporting.
