AAF acquires National Air Filter

USA: Daikin’s filter manufacturing subsidiary AAF has acquired New-Jersey-based National Air Filter Service Company, one of the oldest and largest full-service air filtration management companies in the US.

Founded in 1939 to provide simple filter cleaning and replacement services, National Air Filter has developed into one of the nation’s largest independent, full-service quality air management companies. During the past 30 years, NAF has played a significant role in supporting pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities with FDA approved products and GMP-compliant services.

AAF International celebrated its 100-year anniversary in 2021. The company became part of the Daikin group in 2006, along with McQuay, following the Japanese manufacturer’s purchase of then owner OYL Industries.

AAF International, AAF Flanders and its subsidiaries maintain manufacturing operations in 22 countries across four continents with 6,000 employees worldwide.
