AHR Expo invites awards entries

USA: The organiser of the 2018 AHR Expo in Chicago is inviting entries for its Innovation Awards competition.

The competition is open to all exhibitors at the show which runs from January 22 to January 24 at McCormick Place. Categories include: building automation; cooling; green building; heating; indoor air quality; plumbing; refrigeration; software; tools and instruments; and ventilation.

The winners will receive special recognition prior to the Show, and will be given their awards during a ceremony on the Tuesday of the show. In addition, the winner of the Product of the Year Award will be announced at that time.

“These awards publicly acknowledge the hard work companies contribute toward the future of the industry,” said Clay Stevens, president of organiser the International Exposition Company.

“Each year, several hundred companies submit their latest products. While we only can select 10 winners, it is exciting to see the drive for innovation in our industry continue to grow.”

Completed entry forms and a $100 entry fee must be submitted by Wednesday, August 16, 2017.

All entry fees are donated to a charitable organisation serving the local community where the Show is held.
