AIA Lu-Ve lands €3.2m order

SWEDEN: AIA Lu-Ve Sweden, part of the Italian Lu-Ve Group, has taken its largest ever order, worth €3.2m, for 28MW of cooling power for a large European data centre.

The order includes 28 customised dry coolers with adiabatic pre-treatment of the air. The product was developed and manufactured at AIA Lu-Ve Sweden’s plant in Asarum, Blekinge.

The name of the customer has not been revealed but the order will be delivered during 2021.

Describing the dry cooler as a “cutting-edge” product, AIA/Lu-Ve Sweden MD Paul Falck said: “In a short time, we have further developed our standard product in a way where hardware and software work together to take the air heat exchanger to a whole new level in demanding applications.”

Lu-Ve acquired AIA (Asarums Industriaktiebolag) at the end of 2011 from G & L Beijer AB.
