AKO signals fine food for Spanish trains

SPAIN: Madrid-based facilities management company Serveo has announced a strategic partnership with temperature monitoring and control company AKO to transform railway catering services in Spain. 

Using AKO’s 5G IoT technology, Serveo will be able to monitor and control food temperature in real-time, from logistics centres to the end consumer on the train. As well as ensuring food quality, estimated savings of up to 10% are envisaged.

The AKOData solution encompasses wireless temperature and humidity dataloggers with internal or external antenna and/or probe.
