Alessandro Sertorio, Castel USA CEO, dies

ITALY/USA: Milan-based refrigeration and air conditioning component manufacturer Castel has announced the sudden death of Alessandro Sertorio, the CEO of its US subsidiary. 

According to Italian press reports, Sertorio, 57, was hit by a car while walking on the streets of Miami.

Announcing the news on LinkedIn, the company said of Sertorio: “Throughout his journey in Castel, he played a key role in the development of our commercial activities in Italy and later in the United States and Latin America, leaving a lasting contribution to both organisations. He will be remembered with deep respect and gratitude.”

Alessandro Sertorio had worked for Castel for over 26 years, initially as general manager of sales in Italy, before being appointed Castel USA CEO in 2019.
