AREA offers F-gas/EN378 calculator app

BELGIUM: European contractors’ association AREA has developed an app to aid compliance with EN378 and F-gas requirements for refrigeration and air conditioning engineers.
The app enables the user to calculate concentration and flammability safety limits under EN378 and advise if a design is compliant or requires further investigation.
The app also calculate CO2 tonnes equivalent values for various refrigerants under F-gas for completion of log books and labels on equipment.
The AREA F-Gas app is available for free download for IOS and Android.
Currently only available in English, it is planned to develop other linguistic versions in the coming months.
