Atmosphere opens to record attendance

Over 400 delegates attended today’s Atmosphere Europe opening

GERMANY: In the wake of the Kigali agreement, Atmosphere Europe opened today in Berlin to the largest ever attendance for this series of “natural” refrigerants forums.

Opening this year’s conference, Marc Chasserot, CEO and co-founder of organiser Shecco, described this post Kigali period as a “golden era” for natural refrigerants. “Everyone is now talking about low GWP solutions,” he said.

Over the next three days, the 421 participants, representing leading retailers, industrial and commercial end users, equipment suppliers and policy makers, will learn of current trends and listen to experts’ views and experience of the expansion of applications and their use in all climate zones.

It will also see the presentation of the first Accelerate Europe Awards, will recognising the end users of commercial and industrial refrigeration that are doing the most with natural refrigerant solutions in Europe. Three awards will be presented: Best in Sector, Innovation of the Year, and Person of the Year.
